Lemon Grove
It took us 3 trips to Lemon Grove until we finally got a chance to check this place out (they used to open later but it's 11:00 AM now).
We split the 2 Meats Plate (pork ribs and beef brisket) which comes with 2 side dishes (we ordered the beans and cole slaw) for $11.99 plus a Coke for for almost $15 including tax. We had forgotten to specify "sauce on the side" as they are known for their hickory smoke so it was all covered with a pretty fair sauce (a little too sweet for me, but...). We could taste the smoke in the brisket but not on the ribs.
Their beans supposedly get a fair shot of smoke as well but they were way, way too sweet for me.
In order to be fair, we will visit them again soon and this time, we'll remember to ask them for our sauce on the side.
